Biography
Nicholas Sack was educated at St Dunstan's College, London; Dartington Hall School, Devon; Aston University, Birmingham; and City University, London, where he gained a postgraduate degree in journalism. From 1976 to 1982 he was a drummer in rock bands. Since 1985 he has been a freelance editorial and commercial photographer, working for all the major magazine publishers in London and numerous corporate clients. There have been thirteen solo exhibitions of his urban and rural landscapes, most recently The Man in the Street at University of Greenwich, London (2003), and Uncommon Ground at Arctic Colours Gallery, Porjus, Sweden (2004). A 100-page monograph, 'Uncommon Ground: Photographs by Nicholas Sack' was published by Crosstown Arts Press in 2004.
